Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 4K and Blu-ray

The 2022 film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on July 26th, via Marvel Studios (Disney).  The film, directed by Sam Raimi, stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, and Rachel McAdams.

Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound.  The 4K UHD Blu-ray release will include its Blu-ray counterpart and both will come with a digital code (copy) of the film.

UPDATE:  You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.  It’s certainly worth noting that there will also be an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) available over at retailer Best Buy, which is now up for preorder.

UPDATES:  It turns out that retailer Target will also be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray Art Edition of the film (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

And, as if that weren’t enough choices, there’s also going to be a retailer exclusive over at Walmart for a 4K UHD Blu-ray with Limited-Edition Enamel Pin (pictured below).  That’s available for preorder as well.

2015 film The Little Prince arrives on Blu-ray in February

The 2015 stop-motion animated film “The Little Prince” is coming to Blu-ray Disc, for the very first time in North America, on February 9th via Paramount. The film, directed by Mark Osborne, featured a voice cast that included the talents of Jeff BridgesRachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Bud Cort, Benicio Del Toro, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, Paul Giamatti, Riley Osborne, Albert Brooks, and Mackenzie Foy. The tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed but you can expect the studio [Paramount] to very likely officially announce this title next week. Stay tuned for an update regarding the tech specs and bonus materials. It is known, from the art (pictured above) that the release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray listed to preorder over at Amazon.

Doctor Strange on 4K UHD Blu-ray in October

The 2016 Marvel Studios film Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch sure seems to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 1st via Marvel (Disney), according to multiple retailer listings. The film, part of the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” and directed by Scott Derrickson, co-starred Chiwetel EjioforRachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray and a digital code (copy) of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Retailer Best Buy will be getting a 4K Exclusive Steelbook release of the film (pictured below) which is available for pre-order as well.

The bonus materials set to be included on the release will be identical to those found on the previous Blu-ray, as they actually use that disc for the extras. No new extras will be included on this 4K release.

Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams in “Disobedience” on Blu-ray July

The 2017 Sebastián Lelio directed romantic drama “Disobedience” starring Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams is coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 17th from Universal Studios. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. No bonus materials are set to be included on this “combo pack” release which includes the Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital Copy (via Movies Anywhere).
