First 4 Seasons of The Office are coming to Blu-ray in June

The first four seasons of the popular United States TV series “The Office” will be finally getting released on Blu-ray Disc, as individual seasons, on June 15th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment MOD. These will be manufacture on demand (MOD) titles, which mainly means that you’ll have to order them from online retailers. They had previously only been available via “The Complete Series” Blu-ray set released last year.

The show, a U.S. adaptation by Greg Daniels of the popular U.K. series (of the same title), first aired on NBC in 2005. The U.S. version, in its first four seasons, starred Steve CarellJenna FischerJohn Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Angela Kinsey, Paul Lieberstein, Oscar Nuñez, Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak, and Melora Hardin.

The tech specs include 1080p HD video in the original 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio for each season, with 2.0 stereo for the first season, and 5.1 surround sound for seasons 2 through 4. Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar comes to Blu-ray in April

The 2021 film “Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on April 6th via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Josh Greenbaum, stars Kristen WiigAnnie MumoloJamie Dornan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Phyllis Smith, Ian Gomez, Damon Wayans Jr., and Vanessa Bayer. It’s certainly worth noting, that at the time of writing this, the film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the original 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its DVD counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. The Office: The Complete Series on Blu-ray November

Well, it’s about damn time! That’s what she said. But seriously, “The Office: The Complete Series” is finally getting a Blu-ray Disc box set of all nine seasons for the first time on November 10th via Universal, according to retailers. The tech specs and bonus materials for the box set have not yet been detailed, but they should contain 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound, as found on previous seasons that appeared on the format. There’s no word yet if the release will come with a digital copy of the series, as Season 8 on the format did. All we know really for certain so far is that release date, that it’ll contain all of the seasons, including some very nice artwork (pictured above), and that the set on Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon.

The now cult-classic TV show ran for a total of 9 seasons, for 188 episodes, from 2005 through 2013 on the NBC network. The show, a remake of sorts of the British TV series of the same title, was adapted by Greg Daniels.
