The Fantastic Four: First Steps on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2025 film “The Fantastic 4: First Steps” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray on October 14th via Marvel Studios / Disney. Matt Shakman directed this Marvel Cinematic Universe [“MCU”] movie. It stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, Natasha Lyonne, and Paul Walter Hauser. It’s worth noting that the movie is currently “Certified Fresh” by critics and “Verified Hot” by audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The Last of Us Season 2 comes to 4K and Blu-ray

“The Last of Us: The Complete Second Season” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray on September 23rd. These releases will come via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The show, based on the video game, stars Pedro Pascal as “Joel” and Bella Ramsey as “Ellie.”

In its second season, it costars Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, and Kaitlyn Dever. It also features Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, and Ariela Barer. Other stars include Tati Gabrielle, Spencer Lord, and Danny Ramirez. Additionally, Jeffrey Wright and Catherine O’Hara are in the cast.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 2024 sequel “Gladiator II” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on March 4th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. Ridley Scott directed and produced the film, which stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, and Connie Nielsen.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K releases will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy.
