One Battle After Another on 4K and Blu-ray in January

The 2025 film “One Battle After Another” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on January 20th, 2026, via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.
Paul Thomas Anderson directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and Chase Infiniti. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will include a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available to preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available to preorder at online retailer GRUV. A 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will be released later in 2026. It’s already listed but not available yet at GRUV. Stay tuned for an update on that!
The “One Battle After Another” 4K UHD SteelBook (available Spring 2026) will contain a bonus disc with special features created by Anderson. (Note: The 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD contain no special features.)

The 1997 film “Boogie Nights” will arrive on 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook in early December via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, according to retailers. The title is yet to officially be announced, but the release date is shown to be December 2nd, according to Amazon. Stay tuned for an official announcement from the studio later to get the final word on the exact release date. Paul Thomas Anderson wrote, produced, and directed the movie. It starred Mark Wahlberg, Heather Graham, Julianne Moore, Burt Reynolds, John C. Reilly, William H. Macy, Don Cheadle, Nicole Parker, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The tech specs for the 4K release(s) include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. No Dolby Vision will be included here. The 4K releases will each include a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured in further detail below) is already “currently unavailable” (sold out) at Amazon. Stay tuned for an update if the 4K SteelBook becomes available again for preorder. Also, there are no preorders yet at GRUV or Walmart, but stay tuned for an update on that as well.

The 2002 film “Punch-Drunk Love” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 4th via The Criterion Collection. The film was written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It starred Adam Sandler, Emily Watson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Luis Guzmán, and Mary Lynn Rajskub. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie has received a 4K digital restoration, supervised and approved by director Paul Thomas Anderson. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. This 4K release will be a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray now available for preorder at Amazon. The 2021 film “Licorice Pizza“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 17th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, stars Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie. It’s also worth noting, that at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its DVD counterpart as well as come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.
