Amazon Commissions Earned

The 2021 film “Prisoners of the Ghostland” starring Nicolas Cage is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in SteelBook form (as pictured above) and Blu-ray Disc on November 16th, via RLJE Films. The film, directed by Sion Sono, co-stars Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes, Bill Moseley, Tak Sakaguchi, and Yuzuka Nakaya.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. It would appear that no form of HDR (high dynamic range) will be included with the 4K release, but I have asked if that is the case, so stay tuned for an update [or perhaps confirmation]. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart.

You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray Disc now both available for preorder over at Amazon. The only bonus material set to be included with the releases is listed below.
