The 2002 film Minority Report on 4K in December

The 2002 film adaptation of “Minority Report” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 9th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. Steven Spielberg produced and directed this adaptation of a Philip K. Dick short story. It starred Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Max Von Sydow, Samantha Morton, Steve Harris, and Neal McDonough. It’s worth noting that this movie remains “Certified Fresh” (by critics’ ratings) on Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release(s) include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The 4K releases will each include a digital copy of the film. This release will be a 2-disc set with a Bonus Blu-ray Disc. The movie is only presented on the 4K disc and not in HD on the Blu-ray.

The 2021 film “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 8th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, based on the popular “Resident Evil” video game franchise from CAPCOM, written & directed by Johannes Roberts, stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. Both releases will include a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning it will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray standard release and Blu-ray Disc available for preorder over at Amazon. There’s a reason that I said standard 4K release, as there will in fact be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available at all retailers (pictured below) which is also now available for preorder over at Amazon.

Robert Zemeckis produced “Project Blue Book Season 1” comes to Blu-ray in April
The 2019 TV Series “Project Blue Book: Season 1“ from executive producer Robert Zemeckis is coming to Blu-ray Disc on April 9th via Lionsgate. The shown, as seen on History Channel, features a cast of Aidan Gillen, Michael Malarkey, Laura Mennell, Ksenia Solo, Michael Harney, and Neal McDonough. Tech specs for the Blu-ray of the first season include 1080p video in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound. Yes, you read that correctly, there will NOT be lossless audio nor a 5.1 surround mix included on this release. In fact, it’s getting the same audio treatment as the DVD. All of the 10 episodes for the first season will be included on a 2-disc set. The Blu-ray is now available to pre-order over at Amazon. DC’s “Batman: Assault on Arkham” to get a 4K UHD Blu-ray release in September

The 2014 DC Universe animated movie “Batman: Assault on Arkham“ is getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray release on September 11th via Warner. Tech specs for the release include full 2160p 4K video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The 4K version is available now for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon and Best Buy. The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and Digital Copy of the film included. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are identical to the previous Blu-ray (with nothing new), and are listed below.
