The Fantastic Four: First Steps on 4K and Blu-ray

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Stay tuned for an update when they [Amazon] decide to add a listing for the standard 4K. In the meantime, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray available for preorder at Walmart.

The 1999 film “American Pie” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on September 30th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Paul Weitz directed the movie. It starred Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, Jennifer Coolidge, and Eugene Levy.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Vision and HDR10, and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound on a BD-100 disc.
