Snakes on a Plane is coming to 4K in January

Arrow Video has given the movie a new restoration. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray tech specs include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition and Blu-ray Limited Edition are now available for preorder at Amazon. You can also preorder directly via the Arrow Video website. The physical extras set to be included on these limited edition sets can be seen pictured below.

The 1982 film Wild Style comes to 4K and Blu-ray

The movie has received a 4K restoration from the original 16mm negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.37:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by newly restored lossless Mono sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.37:1 aspect ratio and lossless Mono sound. The 4K limited edition will come as a 3-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and an Audio CD featuring a new “megamix” and more. The Blu-ray will come as a 2-disc set with the CD also included.

Dark City is getting a standard 4K in November

The 1998 movie “Dark City” will get standard edition 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases on November 18th via Arrow Video. Alex Proyas directed and co-wrote the film. The movie starred Rufus Sewell, William Hurt, Kiefer Sutherland, Jennifer Connelly, and Richard O’Brien. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes. NOTE: This release only includes the Director’s Cut and not the theatrical cut.
