Adam Sandler film 50 First Dates comes to 4K in June

The 2004 romantic comedy “50 First Dates“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on June 23rd via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Peter Segal directed the movie, which starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Its supporting cast included Rob Schneider, Sean Astin, Allen Covert, Maya Rudolph, Lusia Strus, Amy Hill, and Dan Aykroyd.

The 2026 psychological thriller “Send Help“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on April 21st via 20th Century Studios (Disney).

Sam Raimi directed the movie, which stars Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien. It’s worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. It’s worth noting that the movie is celebrating its 15th Anniversary, with a majority of the cast having a reunion onstage at the 2026 Academy Awards just this past Sunday. Paul Feig directed the movie, which Kristen Wiig co-wrote, and Judd Apatow produced. It starred Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, and Melissa McCarthy. The 2000 film The Patriot gets a 4K SteelBook in June

The 2000 film “The Patriot” will get a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release on June 9th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

NOTE: This movie has previously been released on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format, back in 2018. Regardless, this time around it features some things like multiple cuts of the movie and a Dolby Vision form of HDR for the first time.


Roland Emmerich directed the film. It starred Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger, Joely Richardson, Jason Isaacs, Chris Cooper, and Tom Wilkinson. The movie was nominated for a total of 3 “Oscars” (Academy Awards).

This release will come as a 2-disc set with two 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. The first disc will contain the theatrical [165-minute] cut, and the second disc will contain the UNRATED [175-minute] version. Tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) form of high dynamic range. Audio will be presented in Dolby Atmos and lossless 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. This will be the first time the unrated version of the film is available in 4K, and the first time either version is available with 12-bit Dolby Vision. The release will include a digital copy of the movie, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 2011 film “Moneyball“ will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a 4K UHD Blu-ray debut on May 12th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Bennett Miller directed the film from a screenplay co-written by Aaron Sorkin. The movie was nominated for a total of six Academy Awards (Oscars), including “Best Picture.” It starred Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. The supporting cast included Robin Wright, Chris Pratt, and Brent Jennings.

The movie has received a 4K presentation approved by the director, Bennet Miller. The tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with SDR (standard dynamic range) and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound.

NOTE: No form of HDR (high dynamic range) will be included with this release. This was most likely the director’s choice.
