The 1996 film “Sleepers” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on April 21st via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

Barry Levinson directed the movie and wrote the screenplay, based on the book by Lorenzo Carcaterra. It starred Kevin Bacon, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Jason Patric, and Brad Pitt. Its supporting cast included Minnie Driver, Bruno Kirby, Vittorio Gassman, Ron Eldard, Terry Kinney, Jonathan Tucker, and the late Brad Renfro.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range, along with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound in either the original theatrical or a director-approved remix. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the film compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 2024 film “The Assessment“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 17th via Magnolia Home Entertainment. Fleur Fortune directed the movie. It stars Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander, Himesh Patel, and Minnie Driver. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (based on critics) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray is available for preorder at Amazon. The release does not appear to include any bonus material.

The 2024 film “The Beekeeper” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on April 23rd via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, directed by David Ayer, stars Jason Statham, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Bobby Naderi, Josh Hutcherson, Jeremy Irons, David Witts, Michael Epp, Jemma Redgrave, and Minnie Driver.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.
