“Seinfeld: The Complete Series” is finally coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 17th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The show, co-created by Larry David, starred Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Richards, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Wayne Knight.
Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. This 4K retains an aspect ratio as the show originally aired on TV, and the Blu-ray will feature a widescreen presentation as seen on Netflix. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. Each release will be a 24-disc set.
