The 2006 film World Trade Center on 4K in August

The 2006 film World Trade Center is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 12th via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Oliver Stone directed the film. It starred Nicolas Cage, Michael Pena, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Jon Bernthal, Frank Whaley, and Stephen Dorff.

This features a new 4K restoration supervised by Oliver Stone. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 with Dolby Vision and HDR10. It will also feature Dolby Atmos as well as lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc included.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. You can also preorder directly via the ShoutFactory website. The bonus materials set to be included on this release are listed below, sorted by disc.

Moonfall is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in April

The 2022 disaster film “Moonfall” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on April 26th via Lionsgate.  The film, directed by Roland Emmerich, stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Charlie Plummer, and Michael Pena.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the same aspect ratio and also with Dolby Atmos sound.  Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray including its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray including its DVD counterpart, and each coming with a digital code (copy) of the film.  You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.  It’s also worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available as an exclusive over at retailer Best Buy (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

The 2021 film adaptation of “Tom & Jerry The Movie” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 18th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Tim Story, stars Chloë Grace MoretzMichael PeñaColin Jost, Rob Delaney, Patsy Ferran, Pallavi Sharda, and Ken Jeong. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. You cannot find the Blu-ray available for preorder yet, but stay tuned for an update.
