The 2025 film “The Phoenician Scheme” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on July 29th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Wes Anderson directed and co-wrote the film with Roman Coppola. It stars Benicio Del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Willem Dafoe, Scarlett Johansson, and Rupert Friend. It’s certainly worth noting that the movie is “Certified Fresh” based on reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.47:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 form of high dynamic range. The 4K will also include Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.47:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. Both the 4K and Blu-ray will come with a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere. The 4K will be a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Stay tuned for an update once they are available at other retailers like Walmart and online retailer GRUV. The bonus materials set to be included with the releases are listed below.
