Supergirl Sixth Season and Complete Series on Blu-ray

The TV series “Supergirl: The Sixth and Final Season“ is officially coming to Blu-ray on March 8th, 2022 via Warner Brothers Home Entertainment. The show, which aired on the CW network, starred Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Reese Rath, Nicole Maines, Azie Tesfai, Julie Gonzalo, and Staz Nair.

The tech specs for the sixth season on Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 4-disc set. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the sixth season. You can now find the sixth season on Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included with the sixth season on Blu-ray are listed below.

It is most certainly also worth noting for the fans of this TV series that a “Supergirl: The Complete Series“ set is coming to Blu-ray on March 8th as well. That set will include all six seasons, with 1080p HD and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound, spanning across a 22-disc set. Mortal Kombat 2021 comes to 4K and Blu-ray in July

The 2021 version of the film “Mortal Kombat” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on July 13th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, based on the popular video game franchise of the same title, directed by Simon McQuoid, stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 4K video presentation with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will come with its Blu-ray counterpart. Both versions will each include a digital code (copy) of the film.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s most certainly worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available as an exclusive over at retailer Best Buy (pictured below), also now available for preorder.

Tyler Perry film “Nobody’s Fool” with Tiffany Haddish on Blu-ray in February

The 2018 Tyler Perry written & directed romantic comedy “Nobody’s Fool“ starring Tiffany Haddish is coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 12th, 2019 (just in time for Valentine’s Day) via Paramount. The film co-stars Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Mehcad Brooks, Amber Riley, and Whoopi Goldberg. Tech specs for the release haven’t been detailed, however you can very likely expect 1080p video and a lossless 5.1 mix. I’ll update this post once I hear any specific aspect ratio and audio format, , so stay tuned. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film included. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound, spanning across a 4-disc set. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. The release will include a Digital Copy of all 23 episodes from the season. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are detailed below.
