The Fantastic Four: First Steps on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2025 film “The Fantastic 4: First Steps” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray on October 14th via Marvel Studios / Disney. Matt Shakman directed this Marvel Cinematic Universe [“MCU”] movie. It stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, Natasha Lyonne, and Paul Walter Hauser. It’s worth noting that the movie is currently “Certified Fresh” by critics and “Verified Hot” by audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Stay tuned for an update when they [Amazon] decide to add a listing for the standard 4K. In the meantime, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, 4K UHD Blu-ray, and Blu-ray available for preorder at Walmart.
