The Emperor’s New Groove comes to 4K in December

The 2000 film “The Emperor’s New Groove“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 9th via Disney. Mark Dindal directed and co-wrote the original story. The movie featured the voice talents of David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Wendie Malick, and Patrick Warburton. It’s worth noting that this movie is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.66:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. The release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, along with a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.
UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the release have yet to be fully detailed, but you can expect all of the previous Blu-ray and DVD extras.
