The 2001 film A Knight’s Tale on 4K in May

The 2001 film A Knight’s Tale arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on May 20th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Brian Helgeland wrote and directed the movie, which starred Heath Ledger, Mark Addy, Rufus Sewell, Paul Bettany, and Alan Tudyk.
This 4K release will include the Theatrical Version – 132 min (PG-13) and Extended Version – 144 min (Unrated). Both versions have received a restoration from the original camera negative. The picture & audio were approved by the director (Brian Helgeland). The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10). Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The audio presentation will be in Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround on the 4K and Blu-ray discs. This release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc (of the theatrical version) included. Also, a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere, is included.

2002 version of The Time Machine on Blu-ray in October

The 2002 film adaptation of the H.G. Wells story “The Time Machine“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc, for the very first time in North America, on October 5th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Simon Wells, starred Guy Pearce, Mark Addy, Phyllida Law, Sienna Guillory, Samantha Mumba, and Jeremy Irons.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless surround sound. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. No info yet on if the bonus materials from the previous DVD release will be ported over or not, but stay tuned for a possible update on that.
Robin Hood [2010] – Blu-ray Screenshots
2010 “Robin Hood” starring Russell Crowe is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in September
The 2010 Ridley Scott directed film adaptation of “Robin Hood” starring Russell Crowe is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 11th via Universal. The release will come with an UNRATED Director’s Cut (156 min) of the film, as well as the Theatrical cut (141 min). Tech specs for the release include full 2160p 4K in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 High Dynamic Range and DTS:X sound. This will come in the form of a “combo pack” release with a Blu-ray Disc and Digital Copy of the film included. Bonus materials set to be included on Blu-ray of the release are listed below.
