The 1970 film Two Mules for Sister Sara on 4K in November

The 1970 western “Two Mules for Sister Sara” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via KL Studio Classics. The film, directed by Don Siegel, starred Clint Eastwood, Shirley MacLaine, Manolo Fábregas, Alberto Morin, Armando Silvestre, John Kelly, David Povall, Ada Carrasco, and Pancho Córdova.
This 4K presentation is that of the International Cut (104 minutes) which comes from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround and Uncompressed LPCM 2.0 Mono sound, on a BD-100 disc. This release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray counterpart included. That Blu-ray features a 2020 4K restoration of the Domestic Cut (105 minutes).
