The 2026 film The Bride! comes to 4K and Blu-ray in May

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The 2006 film World Trade Center is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 12th via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Oliver Stone directed the film. It starred Nicolas Cage, Michael Pena, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Jon Bernthal, Frank Whaley, and Stephen Dorff.

This features a new 4K restoration supervised by Oliver Stone. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 with Dolby Vision and HDR10. It will also feature Dolby Atmos as well as lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc included.

Richard Kelly film Donnie Darko finally comes to 4K in April

The 2001 Richard Kelly film “Donnie Darko” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a limited edition release on April 27th via Arrow Video. The distributor just announced this today via social media. The film, written & directed by Richard Kelly, starred Jake GyllenhaalJena Malone, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Holmes Osborne, Mary McDonnell, Daveigh Chase, James Duval, Patrick Swayze, Jolene Purdy, Stuart Stone, Gary Lundy, Seth Rogen, Beth Grant, Noah Wyle, and Drew Barrymore. Both the theatrical cut and the Director’s Cut of the movie have received new 4K restorations from the original camera negatives, which were supervised and approved by the director Richard Kelly and the DP (director of photography) Steven Poster. The tech specs for the 2-disc limited edition 4K release will include a 2160p presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, for both versions, in HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. UPDATE: The 4K UHD Blu-ray limited edition set is now available for preorder over at Amazon.
