The 1994 Alex Proyas film “The Crow” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 7th via Paramount, according to the retail sources. There will be the choice of either a standard 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured above) or a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteeelBook (pictured below) available. You can now find both available for preorder over at Amazon. The film starred the late Brandon Lee and co-starred Rochelle Davis, Ernie Hudson, Sofia Shinas, Michael Wincott, Bai Ling, Anna Thomson, David Patrick Kelly, Angel David, Laurence Mason, and Tony Todd.

The tech specs and bonus materials for this 30th-anniversary release of the film have yet to be detailed. The releases each will include only the 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc and a digital code (copy) of the film. No Blu-ray will be included. Stay tuned for updates on the tech specs and extras.

UPDATES: You can now find the standard 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available for preorder at retailer Target as well. Also, retailer Walmart will get a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook exclusively with different artwork (pictured below). It’s now available for preorder.
