1967 film The Million Eyes of Sumuru on 4K September

The 1967 action/adventure film “The Million Eyes of Sumuru” will be released in the 4K UHD Blu-ray format on September 24th via distributor Blue Underground. The film, to be presented in its 89-minute “extended version,” was directed by Lindsay Shonteff, and starred Frankie Avalon, George Nader, Shirley Eaton, and Klaus Kinski. Tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 Mono lossless sound. This presentation comes from a brand-new 4K restoration from its long-lost (and recently found) uncut original camera negative. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon.
