1999 film “Dick” with Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams on Blu-ray November

The 1999 Andrew Fleming directed political comedy “Dick” starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 6th via Sony, according to an early alert to retailers.

The film was set during a certain Presidential administration in the late 1960s, and involved two teenage girls meeting the President during a tour of the White House. This comedy featured an incredible cast consisting of a lot of former SNL (“Saturday Night Live”) and “The Kids in the Hall” cast members, as well as other great actors such as Dan Hedaya (as Dick), Will Ferrell (as Bob Woodward), Bruce McCulloch (as Carl Bernstein), Dave Foley (as H.R. Haldeman), Jim Breuer (as John Dean), Teri GarrAna Gasteyer (as Rose Mary Woods), Harry Shearer (as G. Gordon Liddy), Saul Rubinek (as Henry Kissinger), and lastly some kid named Ryan Reynolds?

This seems to be of a marketing tie-in of sorts to go along with the Will Ferrell produced upcoming film Vice set to be released in late December. It’s only logical, and a funny political tie-in as well releasing it before election day. Technical specifications for the release and a list of bonus materials have yet to be detailed, but stay tuned for a later update. The Blu-ray Disc is now available to PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.
