The 1990 film Edward Scissorhands comes to 4K

The 1990 film “Edward Scissorhands“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on October 28th via 20th Century Studios (Disney). Tim Burton co-wrote, produced, and directed the movie. It starred Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Michael Hall, Kathy Baker, and Vincent Price. It’s worth noting that this movie remains “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews at Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie has received a new restoration. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Vision and HDR10, as well as Dolby Atmos sound, all on a BD-66 disc. The release will come as a 2-disc set “combo pack” with its Blu-ray counterpart included, as well as a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The Art of Racing in the Rain comes to Blu-ray

The 2019 film “The Art of Racing in the Rain“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 5th via Fox. The film, directed by Simon Curtis & based on the Garth Stein novel, stars Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried, Kathy Baker, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Gary Cole, Martin Donovan, and features the voice of Kevin Costner. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray Disc available for preorder over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
