Fallout: Season Two comes to 4K and Blu-ray in May

The show, based on the video game franchise of the same title, airs on Amazon Prime Video. It stars Aaron Moten, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Johnny Pemberton, Justin Theroux, and Walton Goggins. The supporting cast includes Frances Turner, Annabel O’Hagan, Leslie Uggams, Jon Daly, Zach Cherry, and Dave Register.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p UHD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, in Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) with Dolby Atmos sound, spanning across a 3-disc set. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound.

American Psycho gets 25th Anniversary Edition 4K

The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will be the UNRATED Uncut Version (102 minutes), not the theatrical R-rated version.

The release will include some very imaginative packaging with a certain twist for those who are fans of the Huey Lewis and the News album “Sports.” The 4K disc will come packaged inside a CD jewel case along with some business cards to die for, as well as replica credit and Blockbuster membership cards (as seen below).

The 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available exclusively for preorder via the Lionsgate Limited website. It’s also worth noting that a VHS “Be Kind, Rewind” edition of the film will also be available in December via Lionsgate Limited as an exclusive. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on 4K and Blu-ray in November

The 2024 film “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 19th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Tim Burton, stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, Jenna Ortega, and Willem Dafoe. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases include a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere. 2001 David Lynch film Mulholland Dr. on 4K in November

The 2001 film Mulholland Drive is officially coming to the 4K UHD Blu-ray format on November 16th via The Criterion Collection. The film, written & directed by David Lynch, starred Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, Justin Theroux, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lori Heuring, Charles Croughwell, Mark Pellegrino, and Robert Forster.

The movie has received a 4K restoration that was supervised by David Lynch the cinematographer Peter Deming, as detailed below.

Biopic “On the Basis of Sex” starring Felicity Jones comes to Blu-ray in March

The 2018 biographical drama On the Basis of Sex starring Felicity Jones is coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 26th, via Universal – according to an early alert to a retailer. This movie is based on the real-life story of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This was directed by Mimi Leder and features a supporting cast that includes Armie HammerJustin Theroux, Sam WaterstonKathy Bates, Cailee Spaeny, and Stephen Root.

Tech specs and bonus materials for the Blu-ray have not yet been detailed. The title still has yet to be officially announced by the studio (Universal) for home video release, so stay tuned for confirmation and further details. It is also known that the release will include a Digital Copy of the film. You can find the Blu-ray available to pre-order now over at Amazon,  Best Buy (where the release date is shown), and Walmart.

“The Spy Who Dumped Me” arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in late October

The 2018 action comedy “The Spy Who Dumped Me” starring Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 30th via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Susanna Fogel, co-stars Justin TherouxHasan Minhaj, and Sam Heughan.

Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release will include 1080p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” – with the 4K getting a Blu-ray included, and the Blu-ray getting a DVD included. A digital copy of the film will be included on each release. The 2000 Mary Harron directed film “American Psycho” starring Christian Bale is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 25th via Lionsgate. The release will come in an “Uncut Version” (UNRATED), not the R-rated theatrical cut. Tech specs for the release include full 2160p 4K video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both varieties of High Dynamic Range, HDR10 and Dolby Vision will be included.
