Amazon Commissions Earned

The 1987 sequel Beverly Hills Cop II is finally coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a “35th Anniversary Edition” release on May 17th via Paramount Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by the late Tony Scott, starred Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Jürgen Prochnow, Ronny Cox, Brigitte Nielsen, Allen Garfield, Paul Reiser, Gilbert R. Hill, Paul Guilfoyle, and the late Dean Stockwell.

UPDATED:  The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound mix.  No bonus materials will be included with this release.  It is most certainly worth noting, that this release will not include a Blu-ray, and instead just a 4K UHD Blu-ray disc along with a digital code (copy) of the film.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.
