The 2024 film The Return comes to Blu-ray in January

The 2024 film “The Return” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 21st via distributor Decal Releasing and Bleeker Street. The film was directed by Uberto Pasolini. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Charlie Plummer, and Claudio Santamaria. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (according to critics) over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. There will be no bonus material included with this release. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon.

2014 version of Godzilla officially comes to 4K in March

The 2014 version of the film “Godzilla” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 23rd via Warner. The film, directed by Gareth Edwards, starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche, and David Strathairn. The tech specs for the release include a 2.40:1 aspect ratio video presentation in HDR10 form of high dynamic range with Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with its original Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. There will be an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release available over at retailer Best Buy (pictured below), which is now available for preorder.

The bonus materials set to be included on the 4K UHD Blu-ray release are listed below.

High Life starring Robert Pattinson on Blu-ray in July

The 2019 science fiction film “High Life“ starring Robert Pattinson is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 9th via Lionsgate. The film, co-written and directed by Claire Denis, co-stars Juliette Binoche, André Benjamin, and Mia Goth. The movie, at time of writing, is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come with a digital copy of the film. UPDATE: This upcoming Blu-ray is now available over at both Amazon and Best Buy for pre-order.
