The 1991 film Career Opportunities on 4K in April

The 1991 film “Career Opportunities” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on April 22nd via KL Studio Classics. The movie was directed by Bryan Gordon and written & produced by John Hughes. It starred Jennifer ConnellyFrank WhaleyDermot MulroneyJohn CandyKieran MulroneyBarry CorbinJohn M. JacksonJenny O’Hara, and Noble Willingham.

The motion picture has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo lossless sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

The 1986 film “The Hitcher” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film was directed by Robert Harmon and starred Rutger Hauer, C. Thomas Howell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jeffrey DeMunn, and John M. Jackson.

The movie has been newly remastered from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos and a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo theatrical sound mix. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound.
