The 2000 film Bring It On will come to 4K UHD Blu-ray on June 24th via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Peyton Reed directed this movie, which starred Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union, and Eliza Dushku. Additionally, it co-starred Jesse Bradford, Clare Kramer, Nicole Bilderback, Tsianina Joelson, and Rini Bell. It’s worth noting that this film is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The movie has received a new 4K transfer from the 35mm original camera negative. Director Peyton Reed approved this. The 4K tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10 form of high dynamic range. The audio will be presented in lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

2002 film Clockstoppers finally on Blu-ray in January

Amazon Commissions Earned

The 2002 film Clockstoppers is coming to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on January 25th, 2022, via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Jonathan Frakes, starred Jesse Bradford, French Stewart, Paula Garcés, Michael Biehn, Garikayi Mutambirwa, Lindze Letherman, and Julia Sweeney.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray have not yet been announced but you can expect full 1080p HD video, likely in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with a lossless sound mix (presumably in a 5.1 surround configuration). It’s also unknown if this will contain all of the DVD extras ported over or not, but I would speculate that it should. That all being said, stay tuned for any updates regarding this release. You can find the Blu-ray now available for preorder over at Amazon.
