The 1994 film Timecop is coming to 4K in April

The 1994 film “Timecop” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on April 29th via Scream Factory. The film was directed by Peter Hyams. It starred Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mia Sara, Ron Silver, Bruce McGill, Gloria Reuben, Scott Bellis, Jason Schombing, and Scott Lawrence.

This comes from a new 4K transfer from the 35mm original camera negative. The 4K tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, featuring the new 4K transfer.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. You also preorder directly via the distributor’s website. No bonus materials are set to be included with this release.

1992 film Universal Soldier on 4K in November

The 1992 film “Universal Soldier“ starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Roland Emmerich, co-starred Ally Walker, Ed O’Ross, Jerry Orbach, Leon Rippey, and Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range as well as DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon and Best Buy. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
