The 2004 film Meet the Fockers comes to 4K in April

The 2004 sequel “Meet the Fockers“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on April 14th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

Jay Roach directed the movie. It starred Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Blythe Danner, and Owen Wilson. This was the first sequel to the film “Meet the Parents” (2000), which is already available on 4K UHD Blu-ray.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. The 2-disc release will be a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, as well as a digital code (copy) of the film compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon and GRUV. The bonus materials included with the release are listed below.

The 2025 film The Roses gets a Blu-ray in November

The 2025 dark comedy “The Roses” is slated for a Blu-ray Disc release on November 25th via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). Jay Roach directed the movie, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman. It co-stars Andy Samberg, Kate McKinnon, Allison Janney, Sunita Mani, Ncuti Gatwa, Zoë Chao, and Jamie Demetriou. This movie is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film “The War of the Roses,” based on the novel by Warren Adler.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will include a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere. The Blu-ray is not yet available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart, but stay tuned for an update on that. The following bonus materials will be included with the release.

2019 film Bombshell comes to Blu-ray in March

The 2019 film “Bombshell“ starring Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 10th, via Lionsgate. The film, based on a true story & directed by Jay Roach, co-stars John Lithgow, Allison Janney, Malcolm McDowell, Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Liv Hewson, Stephen Root, and Mark Duplass. UPDATED: Tech specs for the Blu-ray include video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with  Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. Yes, you read that correctly. The Blu-ray Disc will come in the form of a “combo pack” with it getting a DVD counterpart and digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray listed for preorder over at Amazon.
