The 2025 Japanese film “Samurai Fury” arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on October 28th in the United States, via Well Go USA. The movie, also known as “Muromachi Burai“ (or “Muromachi Outlaws”), was produced by the Toei company. Yû Irie wrote and directed the film. It stars Oizumi Yo, Matsumoto Wakana, Nagao Kento, and Tsutsumi Shinichi.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Japanese Dolby Atmos (featuring English subtitles) as well as dubbed English and Japanese lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound mixes. The technical specifications for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Japanese Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0, as well as English DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0 sound mixes, featuring English subtitles for the Japanese.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available for preorder at online retailer GRUV and Walmart. The 2016 film “Shin Godzilla” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray, reportedly in October via GKIDS (distributed by Shout! Studios). Shinji Higuchi and Hideaki Anno co-directed the film. The movie has received a new 4K remaster.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range. It will also include the original Japanese language in lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 3.1 (with English subtitles) as well as the English dub, also in DTS-HD MA 3.1 sound. The 4K will be presented on a BD-100 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and both Japanese and English DTS-HD MA 3.1 sound, with English subtitles, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will come as a 3-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, as well as a second Blu-ray for bonus materials. The Blu-ray will come as a 2-disc set with a second Blu-ray for extras.
You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray now available for preorder at online retailer GRUV. Deluxe Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray / Blu-ray
There will also be a 4-disc 4K UHD Blu-ray Deluxe Collector’s Edition available (directly via Godzilla.com website), which is now available for preorder. This will include an additional Blu-ray featuring the ORTHOchromatic version of the film (in HD), and some physical extras as well. Those details about the 4th “Black Disc” are below.

The 2024 Japanese film “Ghost Killer” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on September 23rd via Well Go USA. Kensuke Sonomura directed this movie.
