The 2021 horror film “Malignant“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 30th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, produced, co-written & directed by James Wan, stars Annabelle Wallis, Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jean Louisa Kelly, Susanna Thompson, Jake Abel, and Jacqueline McKenzie. It is most certainly worth noting, that at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” currently over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.

This release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film which is compatible with Movies Anywhere. The bonus material set to be included with the release is listed below.

The 2004 horror film “Saw” — in its UNRATED form — will be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray release on May 11th via Lionsgate, according to retailers. The film, directed by James Wan, starred Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, Shawnee Smith, Ken Leung, Dina Meyer, and Leigh Whannell. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, nor have the bonus materials for the release but stay tuned for an update. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film.
UPDATES: The release date actually appears it will be May 11th, as noted, and not the week before as one retailer had been indicating. As of now, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.

The film, directed by James Wan, co-stars Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio in both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range with Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio, without the sound format being yet specified. Stay tuned for an update on that.
