The 2010 film Devil is coming to 4K in early October

The 2010 film “Devil” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 8th via Scream Factory. The film, directed by John Erick Dowdle, co-written and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, starred Chris Messina, Logan Marshall-Green, Jenny O’Hara, Bojana Novakovic, Bokeem Woodbine, Geoffrey Arend, Jacob Vargas, and Matt Craven.

The movie has received a 4K restoration from the interpositive negative. Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, using the 4K restoration. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon, online retailer GRUV, and directly via Shout! Factory’s website. The 2018 film “The Public“ written and directed by Emilio Estevez is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 2nd, via Universal. The film starred Alec Baldwin, Taylor Schilling, Emilio Estevez, Jena Malone, Jacob Vargas, Gabrielle Union, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jeffrey Wright, and Christian Slater. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. You can find the Blu-ray available for pre-order now over at Amazon. The release will come with a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere. No bonus materials are set to be included on the release.
