The 2024 film The Assessment on Blu-ray in June

The 2024 film “The Assessment“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 17th via Magnolia Home Entertainment. Fleur Fortune directed the movie. It stars Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander, Himesh Patel, and Minnie Driver. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (based on critics) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray is available for preorder at Amazon. The release does not appear to include any bonus material.

2019 film Yesterday on 4K and Blu-ray September

The 2019 Danny Boyle directed film “Yesterday” is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 24th via Universal, according to retailers. The film, which uses music from The Beatles, stars Himesh Patel, Lily James, Sophia Di Martino, Ellise Chappell, and Joel Fry. Tech specs and bonus materials have not yet been detailed for either the 4K or Blu-ray releases yet, but stay tuned for an update. It is known (from art) that both releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K receiving a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and both including a digital copy (code) of the film.
