Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning on 4K

The 2025 sequel “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on October 14th via Paramount. Christopher McQuarrie directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Henry Czerny. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is rated both “Certified Fresh” based on reviews by critics and “Verified Hot” by audiences at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in 2.39:1 and 1.90:1 shifting aspect ratios, including Dolby Vision and HDR10 with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. NOTE: There will not be a standard Blu-ray release of this film on home video. If you want a Blu-ray, you’ll have to buy one of the two 4K 3-disc “combo packs” which include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart. A Blu-ray housing bonus materials will also be included. A digital copy of the film is also included with both of the 4K UHD Blu-ray releases.

Blinded by the Light comes to Blu-ray November

The 2019 film Blinded by the Light is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 19th via Warner. The film, directed by Gurinder Chadha, features a cast of Viveik Kalra, Dean-Charles Chapman, Billy BarrattRonak Singh Chadha Berges, Kulvinder Ghir, Meera Ganatra, Nell Williams, Aaron Phagura, and Hayley Atwell. The film has received much critical acclaim, in fact (at time of writing) it carries a “Certified Fresh” rating over at Rotten Tomatoes. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. Disney’s “Christopher Robin” with Ewan McGregor comes to Blu-ray in November

The 2018 Disney live-action film Christopher Robin starring Ewan McGregor is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 6th. The film was directed by Marc Forster. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. The Blu-ray Disc release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film included. The Blu-ray is available for pre-order over at Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. It’s also worth noting that Target will be getting an Exclusive Storybook packaging version of the Blu-ray, also now available to pre-order. There’s no Amazon pre-order listing yet, but stay tuned for an update on that.
