2023 film Thanksgiving on 4K SteelBook in October

The 2023 horror film “Thanksgiving” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a SteelBook on October 15th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Directed by Eli Roth, the film starred Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range along with Dolby Atmos and the original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available for preorder at Amazon and retailer Walmart.

The limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will also include a letter from director Eli Roth to the fans. The bonus materials included with the release are listed below, by disc.

The 2023 horror film “Thanksgiving” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 30th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by Eli Roth, stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.  It’s worth noting that this film is rated “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  The release will include a digital code (copy) of the film.  You can find the Blu-ray now available for preorder over at Amazon and Walmart.  The bonus materials set to be included with the release (including some Blu-ray exclusives) are listed below.

1988 film “Red Heat“ starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 29th via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Walter Hill, co-starred Jim Belushi, Peter Boyle, Ed O’Ross, Laurence Fishburne, and Gina Gershon.  Tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. Olive Films plans 1996 film “Bound” for a Signature release Blu-ray Disc in August

bound_olive_signature_bluray.jpgOlive Films has plans to bring the 1996 film “Bound“ starring Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly, to Blu-ray Disc in a Olive Signature release on August 28th. The film was written and directed by The Wachowskis (of “Matrix” fame). Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Stereo sound, although not yet specified in what format. The release has received a “new High-Definition digital restoration” according to the official announcement. A PRE-ORDER listing is available now over at Amazon.
