The 2019 Sci-Fi/Thriller film “Captive State“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 11th via Universal, according to an early alert to retailers. The movie, directed by Rupert Wyatt, stars John Goodman, Ashton Sanders, Jonathan Majors, and Vera Farmiga. Tech specs for the release on Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title on Blu-ray is available to pre-order now over at Amazon and Best Buy. The release will get a digital copy of the film via Movies Anywhere. The 2018 film “Mary Queen of Scots” starring Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 26th, via Universal. The film, directed by Josie Rourke, co-stars Jack Lowden, Joe Alwyn, Guy Pearce, and David Tennant. Tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video presented in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. Technical specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect with Dolby Atmos sound. This documentary has been well received by the critics, carrying a “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes with a 88% rating – at time of writing. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come with a Digital Copy of the film included.
