The TV series “The Umbrella Academy: Season One” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 22nd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment, according to retailers. The show, which airs on Netflix, based on the Dark Horse comics series (of the same title) created by Gerard Way, stars Elliot Page, Robert Sheehan, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Justin H. Min, Aidan Gallagher, and Emmy Raver-Lampman. The tech specs for the first season of the show on Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound spanning across a set of three BD-50 Blu-ray Discs. You can now find the Blu-ray (mislabeled as the DVD) available for preorder over at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included with this release.
