Kinds of Kindness arrives on Blu-ray in October

The 2024 film “Kinds of Kindness” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 8th via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). The film, directed and co-written by Yorgos Lanthimos, stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alywn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.
Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The Blu-ray release will include a digital copy. UPDATE: You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon and retailer Walmart. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.

The film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, stars Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, and Jerrod Carmichael. It’s certainly worth noting that this film has been deemed “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. 2013 animated film The Croods on 4K in November

The 2013 CG animated film “The Croods” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 17th, via Universal, according to early retail alerts. The film, directed by Kirk DeMicco & Chris Sanders, featured the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman, and Clark Duke. You can already find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon and retailer Target. This release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. UPDATE: Tech specs for the release include a 2160p presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS:X sound, with a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 core. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

Zombieland: Double Tap comes to 4K and Blu-ray
The 2019 sequel “Zombieland: Double Tap” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 21st, 2020 via Sony. The film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, features a cast of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Zoey Deutch, Rosario Dawson, Luke Wilson, Avan Jogia, and Thomas Middleditch. Tech specs for the 4K release include IMAX Enhanced video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and DTS:X sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and each getting a digital code (copy) of the film included. You can now find both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray Disc available for preorder over at Amazon. It should also be noted that retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook for the release (pictured below) that is also now available for preorder.

The 2018 Yorgos Lanthimos directed film “The Favourite“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 5th, via Fox Home Entertainment. The film is nominated for a total of 10 Oscars and features a primary cast of Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz. The tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, but you expect an update on that. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film included.
