Inglourious Bastards gets limited edition 4K in January

The 2009 film “Inglourious Bastards” will get a limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc release on January 14th via Arrow Video. The film, written & directed by Quentin Tarantino, starred Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, B.J. Novak, Daniel Brühl, Diane Kruger, Eli Roth, and Mélanie Laurent.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. You can now find the limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. The release will come with a good amount of physical extras which are listed and shown below.

Borderlands comes to 4K and Blu-ray in October

According to retailers, the 2024 film “Borderlands” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Lionsgate. The film, based on the 2K video game of the same title, directed and co-written by Eli Roth, stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. All of the releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and each including a digital copy. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available for preorder at Amazon. There will also be 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBooks available (pictured below) exclusively at Amazon and retailer Walmart. The 2023 horror film “Thanksgiving” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a SteelBook on October 15th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Directed by Eli Roth, the film starred Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range along with Dolby Atmos and the original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.
