A Complete Unknown on 4K and Blu-ray in April

The 2024 film “A Complete Unknown” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on April 1st. The physical media releases come via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). Directed, produced, and co-written by James Mangold, the film is nominated for 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Dan Fogler, Norbert Leo Butz, and Eriko Hatsune. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) on Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) and Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo sound, on a BD-66. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both releases will include a digital copy of the film.
