The 2026 animated film “GOAT” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on May 5th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

NBA superstar Stephen Curry produced the Sony Pictures Animation film, directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette. It features the voices of Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll, and Jennifer Hudson.

It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is both “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p UHD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible), high dynamic range, with Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will each also come with a digital code (copy) of the film compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 2008 live-action film adaptation of “Speed Racer” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on May 19th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

The movie was co-directed, and the adaptation was co-written by The Wachowskis, Lana Wachowski, and Lilly Wachowski. The movie starred Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, Matthew Fox, and Richard Roundtree.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible), high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. “Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 26th via NEON (distributed by Decal Releasing).

Matt Johnson directed, co-wrote, and co-stars in the film. It co-stars Jay McCarrol, along with Ben Petrie, Ethan Eng, Reid Janisse, Michael Scott, Maddy Wilde, and Ethan Keyes. It’s most certainly worth noting that the movie is “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

The 2006 high-concept comedy “Click“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on June 23rd via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Frank Coraci directed the film, which starred Adam Sandler. It co-starred Kate Beckinsale, Christopher Walken, Henry Winkler, David Hasselhoff, Julie Kavner, and Sean Astin.

The 2017 horror film “The Snowman” will get 4K UHD Blu-ray and Special Edition Blu-ray releases on May 26th via KL Studio Classics [Kino Lorber].


Tomas Alfredson directed the movie, which starred Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Val Kilmer. The supporting cast included J.K. Simmons, Jonas Karlsson, Michael Yates, Chloë Sevigny, Toby Jones, James D’Arcy, and Ronan Vibert. Martin Scorsese served as an executive producer on the motion picture.

Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range, and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc Special Edition counterpart included. Tech specs for the Special Edition Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0 sound, on a BD-50 disc.

The show was created by Brad Ingelsby, who also wrote half of the episodes. It stars Mark Ruffalo, Emilia Jones, Alison Oliver, Fabien Frankel, Thuso Mbedo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, and Martha Plimpton. The 2000 film The Patriot gets a 4K SteelBook in June

The 2000 film “The Patriot” will get a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release on June 9th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

NOTE: This movie has previously been released on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format, back in 2018. Regardless, this time around it features some things like multiple cuts of the movie and a Dolby Vision form of HDR for the first time.


Roland Emmerich directed the film. It starred Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger, Joely Richardson, Jason Isaacs, Chris Cooper, and Tom Wilkinson. The movie was nominated for a total of 3 “Oscars” (Academy Awards).

This release will come as a 2-disc set with two 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. The first disc will contain the theatrical [165-minute] cut, and the second disc will contain the UNRATED [175-minute] version. Tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) form of high dynamic range. Audio will be presented in Dolby Atmos and lossless 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. This will be the first time the unrated version of the film is available in 4K, and the first time either version is available with 12-bit Dolby Vision. The 1983 crime drama “Blue Thunder“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a Limited Edition on May 5th via Arrow Video, distributed stateside by MVD Entertainment Group.

John Badham directed the movie, which featured a screenplay co-written by Dan O’Bannon and Don Jakoby. The film starred Roy Scheider, Daniel Stern, Warren Oates, Candy Clark, David Sheiner, Joe Santos, and Malcolm McDowell.

It has received a 4K restoration from the original negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range, along with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (remix) surround and (original) 2.0 Stereo sound.
