Good Fortune comes to 4K and Blu-ray in December

The 2025 film “Good Fortune” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray on December 9th via Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Aziz Ansari wrote, directed, and stars in the movie. It co-stars Seth Rogen, Keanu Reeves, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh. It’s worth noting this motion picture is “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K SteelBook will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. Both the 4K SteelBook and Blu-ray will feature a digital copy of the movie.

Kevin Smith’s Dogma comes to 4K in December

The 1999 film “Dogma” is finally coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 9th via Lionsgate / Lionsgate Limited. Kevin Smith wrote, produced, directed, and co-starred in the movie. It starred Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Linda Fiorentino, Salma Hayek, Chris Rock, Jason Mewes, Janeane Garofalo, Alanis Morissette, and Jason Lee. The film also co-starred the late Alan Rickman and George Carlin. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

EDITORIAL NOTE: It’s also worth mentioning that this movie has been OOP (out of print) on the Blu-ray format for a long time. So, it’s great to see it will finally be back available on physical media.

The movie has received a new 4K restoration. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound. The releases will both come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart, as well as a digital copy of the movie included.

The 2025 film “One Battle After Another” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on January 20th, 2026, via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

Paul Thomas Anderson directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and Chase Infiniti. It’s certainly worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will include a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available to preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available to preorder at online retailer GRUV. The 2025 film “The Smashing Machine“ is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in January via A24. The film was written and directed by Benny Safdie. It stars Dwayne Johnson (“The Rock”) and Emily Blunt. This film is “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray version include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. It seems that the 4K UHD Blu-ray might be an exclusive to the A24 Shop. Also, the release date has only been indicated as sometime in January 2026. Stay tuned for an update on that as well.

You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray or Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart. In the meantime, though, you can preorder both versions directly via the A24 Shop. The bonus materials included on the physical media releases are listed below.

Bringing Out the Dead comes back to 4K in January

The 1999 film “Bringing Out the Dead” will be re-released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on January 13th, 2026, via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, directed by Martin Scorsese, starred Nicolas Cage, Patricia Arquette, John Goodman, Ving Rhames, Tom Sizemore, and Marc Anthony.

EDITORIAL NOTE: Even though this technically is a re-release, it’s not to be confused with the earlier [2024] Paramount Presents release. That release [which included a 4K disc] has since gone OOP (out of print). This new release [or re-release, rather] will make the movie in 4K once again available to consumers, on physical media.

The movie has been “newly remastered from the original camera negative. This exceptional new release was reviewed by Scorsese, cinematographer Robert Richardson, and editor Thelma Schoonmaker.”

The Blumhouse-produced sequel was co-written and directed by Scott Derrickson, originally based on a short story by Joe Hill. It stars Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, Demián Bichir, and Miguel Mora. It’s worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” based on the critics’ reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie featured the voice talents of David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Wendie Malick, and Patrick Warburton. It’s worth noting that this movie is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

NOTE: This will be the first time the movie has been available on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format.
