The 2025 film “Hamnet” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on March 3rd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
Chloé Zhao directed, executive-produced, and co-wrote the screenplay for the motion picture. The movie is based on the novel (of the same title) written by Maggie O’Farrell. O’Farrell also actually co-wrote the script. Steven Spielberg and Sam Mendes both served as producers. The movie starred Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. Its supporting cast included Justine Mitchell, Emily Watson, David Wilmot, James Lintern, Joe Alwyn, Zac Wishart, and Freya Hannan-Mills. It’s worth noting that this is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) on Rotten Tomatoes.
UPDATED: The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray have now been detailed. It will include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The 1987 sci-fi/comedy “Innerspace” will get both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-rayLimited Edition releases on April 28th via Arrow Video. Each release will be distributed stateside by MVD Entertainment Group.
