The 2005 film “Constantine” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on February 18th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, based on the comic book “Hellblazer,” was directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast included Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Djimon Hounsou, Tilda Swinton, and Peter Stormare. The movie will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next year (2025). This release will include the theatrical cut and the uncut versions of the film.
Here’s some interesting information on the restoration.
“The 4K restoration of Constantine was completed at Warner Bros. Discovery’s Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) and was sourced from the original camera negative. The restoration was overseen by director Francis Lawrence.”
The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.
UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook are now available for preorder at Amazon. The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) is also available for preorder at online retailer GRUV. Stay tuned for an update when the standard 4K UHD Blu-ray becomes available for preorder at GRUV.

The 2024 film “A Quiet Place: Day One” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray Disc on October 8th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Michael Sarnoski, starred Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured above & below) will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The 4K and Blu-ray physical releases will all include a digital copy.

Prequel The King’s Man on 4K and Blu-ray in February

The 2021 prequel “The King’s Man” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on February 22nd via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, co-written and directed by Matthew Vaughn, stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance. This film is a prequel to the films “Kingsman: The Secret Service” (2014) and “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” (2016).
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation in 2.39:1 and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. The 4K release of the film will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its Blu-ray counterpart. Both the 4K and Blu-ray versions will include a digital code (copy) of the film.
UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over retailers Best Buy and Target. It’s also worth noting that retailers will have some 4K UHD Blu-ray exclusives for this, with Best Buy getting a three-movie “The Kingsman Collection” SteelBook set (pictured below), while retailer Target will be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray “Gallery Book” packaging for “The King’s Man” (pictured a bit below), and finally retailer Walmart will be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray for the film with different artwork on the slipcover (pictured further below). All of these retailer exclusives, with the exception of the Walmart one, are available for preorder. Stay tuned for an update on the latter one.

The 2019 film adaptation of “Charlie’s Angels” directed by Elizabeth Banks is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on March 10th, via Sony. The film, based on the popular TV series (of the same title), stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, Elizabeth Banks, Djimon Hounsou, Sam Claflin, Noah Centineo, and Patrick Stewart. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include an IMAX Enhanced experience with video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS:X audio. UPDATE: Tech specs for the Blu-ray have been detailed and include video in the same 2.39:1 aspect and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The 2014 Marvel Studios film “Guardians of the Galaxy“ appears to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 1st via Marvel (Disney), according to multiple retailer listings. The film, part of the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” and directed by James Gunn, starred Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Benicio Del Toro, and Sean Gunn. It also featured the voice talents of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray and a digital code (copy) of the film included. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray now available for pre-order over at Amazon and at Best Buy. Speaking of retailer Best Buy, they will be getting a 4K Exclusive Steelbook release of the film (pictured below) which is available for pre-order as well.
