“Police Squad!” The Complete Series on Blu-ray
– Commissions Earned –
The 1982 TV series “Police Squad!“ starring Leslie Nielsen as “The Complete Series“ appears to be coming to Blu-ray Disc on April 14th, via Paramount, according to retailers. The show was followed by the popular “The Naked Gun” trilogy of films throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. The series, created by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, & Jerry Zucker, co-starred Alan North, Rex Hamilton, Peter Lupus, Ed Williams, William Duell, Florence Henderson, and William Shatner. The show lasted just one season and ran for a total of six episodes, which will undoubtedly all be contained on this release. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been specified. In fact, the release itself hasn’t even yet been officially announced by Paramount. Technically, at this point, it should be considered pretty much a “rumor” with something to back it up. So, stay tuned for later verification and/or update regarding this release. Lastly, for now, it is worth noting that the Blu-ray Disc is available for preorder over at Amazon.
