Bullet Train arrives on 4K and Blu-ray in October

The 2022 film “Bullet Train” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 18th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by David Leitch, stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Bad Bunny, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Zazie Beetz, and Sandra Bullock.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in 2.39:1 aspect with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and each including a digital code (copy) of the film compatible with Movies Anywhere.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray Disc are both available for preorder over at Amazon.  It’s also worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available (pictured below) which is also now available for preorder over at Amazon.  That 4K SteelBook set also includes the physical extras of 9 collectible character cards.

Hobbs & Shaw on 4K and Blu-ray in November

The 2019 sequel “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 5th via Universal. The film, directed by David Leitch, features a cast of Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Cliff Curtis, and Helen Mirren. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range as well as Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and both a digital (code) copy of the film included. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray Disc both available for pre-order now over at Amazon. It’s worth noting that retailer Best Buy will be getting an Exclusive 4K Steelbook for the release (pictured below) which is also available for pre-order now.

“Deadpool 2” with Ryan Reynolds comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in August

The 2018 sequel “Deadpool 2” starring Ryan Reynolds is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 21st via Fox Home Entertainment.

UPDATE: Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include full 2160p 4K video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray Disc release include full 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. A “Super Duper Cut” (extended UNRATED cut) of the film, with an additional 15 minutes will be included. The title is available for PRE-ORDER on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc now at Amazon. It’s also going to be available in an exclusive Steelbook on both formats over at Best Buy, where you’ll find the PRE-ORDER links to the 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook and Blu-ray Disc Steelbook.

The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” including a Blu-ray Disc and Digital Copy of the film. The Blu-ray Disc version will include a Digital Copy of the film.
