1989 film Do the Right Thing on 4K UHD Blu-ray in February

The 1989 Spike Lee joint “Do the Right Thing” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 2nd, 2021, via Universal — according to retailers. The film, written & directed by Spike Lee, featured a cast of Danny AielloOssie DavisRuby Dee, Richard Edson, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Nunn, John Turturro, Paul Benjamin, Frankie Faison, Samuel L. Jackson, and Martin Lawrence. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release of the film include a video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio in HDR10 with DTS:X sound on a BD-100 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it’ll receive its Blu-ray Disc counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film included. 1987 film Moonstruck gets Criterion Blu-ray

The 1987 film Moonstruck is getting a Blu-ray Disc release on November 17th via The Criterion Collection. The film, directed by Norman Jewison & winner of 3 Academy Awards (“Oscars”), starred Cher, Nicolas Cage, Vincent Gardenia, Olympia Dukakis, Danny Aiello, Julie Bovasso, John Mahoney, Louis Guss, Feodor Chaliapin Jr., and Anita Gillette.
