The 2022 [adult swim] R-rated animated film “Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 8th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, based on the popular TV series “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” and its other titles, was co-written and co-directed by the show’s creators Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis. The voice cast includes Carey Means as “Frylock,” Dana Snyder as “Master Shake,” and [co-creator] Dave Willis as “Meatwad.”
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p video presentation with no official details on if it will include HDR10 or not and a lossless 5.1 surround mix. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation and lossless 5.1 surround mix as well. Stay tuned for an update hopefully soon regarding the full tech specs. The 4K UHD Blu-ray release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray counterpart included. Both releases will include a digital code (copy) of the film.
