“Tolkien” with Nicholas Hoult on Blu-ray August

The 2019 biopic “Tolkien“ starring Nicholas Hoult (as J.R.R. Tolkien) is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 6th via Fox. The film, directed by Dome Karukoski, co-stars Lily Collins and Colm Meaney. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of “combo pack” with a DVD and digital copy of the film included. You can find the Blu-ray now available to pre-order over at Amazon and Best Buy. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

“Law Abiding Citizen” with Jamie Foxx comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray in November

The 2009 F. Gary Gray directed film “Law Abiding Citizen“ starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 6th via Lionsgate. Tech specs for the release include 2160p 4K video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. This will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and a Digital Copy of the film included. UPDATE: a PRE-ORDER listing for this 4K release of the film is now available over at Amazon.
